THE GRACE MINUTE - God's Good Plan

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” - Philippians 3:20

“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” - Psalm 39:7

Every 4 years in the United States there is a potential change in political power. And every time one political party replaces another, half of our population’s anxiety level goes through the roof. People believe that their future looks bleak or bright, depending on what party they belong to. I do not want to minimize the effect that a president’s decisions can have on us all, but the fact is that God is not dependent on a particular party being in power in order to bless us or for our personal ministries to prosper. God is able to bless you no matter who is in office. And we are able to love no matter who is in office. It’s faith that really matters. God has a good plan for your life. “I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11. That promise is not contingent upon your candidate winning an election. It is a simple promise of God; that His goodness, prosperity, and hope will manifest in your life. He never ceases to be your loving, providing Father. Rest in that.

I believe what You say, Father, that I am secure and provided for in all political environments. Thank You that Your kingdom undergirds my life and ministry, and that I am well cared for.
